First party data

First party data is data that is collected by a website or online service directly from its users. This data can include information such as a user's name, contact information, and demographic information. First party data is typically used to personalize a user's experience on a website or online service, and to target advertising to them. In comparison, third party data is data that is collected by a third party such as an advertising network, and is used to target advertising to users on behalf of website or online service and second party data is data that is collected by one organization from another organization with which it has a business relationship.
